- Plug in USB Floppy with start up disk win98 to system USB port.
- Power on system and press “F2 key” to enter BIOS.
- Set boot priority 1:USB FDD then restart.
- Chose 2 then A:/type debug
- Program terminate
- Restart the system
Step 2 : How to make SATA driver for 4310 & 4710
1. Extract the zip file to floppy disk. Before you do that, please download the SATA Drivers here..
2. XP installation SOP:
- Put the WinXP SP2 CD disc to DVD-ROM.
- Plug in USB Floppy with AHCI driver disk to system USB port.
- Power on system and press “F2 key” to enter BIOS.
- Set boot priority 1:CD/DVD 2:IDE0 3:USB FDD then restart.
- System starts installation.
- Please press “F6 key” for several times while you see the “Press F6 if you…” is displayed below the screen.
- After about 3 - 4 minute, the system appear “Windows Setup” screen.
- Press “S key” then select “Intel 82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller (MOBILE ICH7MR/DH)”.
- The system will load AHCI driver through the USB floppy disc, then press “Enter key”.
- The system can identify the SATA HDD and start installation successfully, check the system without appear bluescreen.

I just got one, in the USA, pawn shop, former owner not responding, HDD blanked/wiped, no USB drive, or drivers, using Windows 98 on SATA drive, connected to PC with floppy to move the files from working Net connected device. Still in the process right now, no success. Locked BIOS password is PITA!!
